Privacy Policy – Brno Buddy

Brno Buddy does not require an account. Your favourites, visited places, personal notes, language preference, quiz results, and badge progress are stored locally on your device. If you choose a photo for a place, the app stores a reference to the selected file. Access to that file is provided through Android's system photo picker. The app does not send this information to a server operated by Martin Baránek.

You can delete locally stored app data through the Android system settings or by uninstalling the app. Whether app data may be transferred through Android system backup depends on your device and Google Account settings.

To display maps, the app downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap services. To display live public-transport departures, it sends the stop selected by the user to the IDS JMK service. When these requests are made, the respective service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, the time of the request, and the requested content. Their processing of this information is governed by their own privacy policies. Brno Buddy does not use advertising SDKs or first-party analytics.

Brno Buddy does not access your device's location. If you open a link in another app, open a place in a map application, or share a quiz result, any subsequent processing is controlled by the app or service you choose.
